This is my first Castle video in quite some time so I apologize if I'm a little rusty. The song here is "She Used To Be Mine" by Sara Bareilles and I felt it was the perfect song to display the conflicting emotions within both Beckett and Castle throughout this current storyline.
My aim here is to showcase the emotional heart and soul of the current story arc, one that I've felt has been deeply about who Beckett and Castle both are individually while putting them to the test of all of their beliefs and commitments to each other and to themselves. All of the heartbreak, all of the suffering, and all of the sacrifices they have each made in this storyline are for the greater good and while I believe we'll see them chasing down Loksat together soon enough, they first have to both come to realize that no batter should ever be fought alone, no matter the risk. I think they're on their way to that point but for now, I'm enjoying their journey getting there, just as I've enjoyed their journey over the entire series.
